Yum...Cake

I recently found out that my little sister, Rachael, has a new hobby. However, this hobby has recently started bringing in some cash.  So, it is safe to say, that this hobby has turned into a job that she loves!

 Rachael's Husband is in the Army. They are currently stationed at the Pentagon. She started making these cakes to pass the time. Oh..did I mention that she is also nine months pregnant, and is due any day! I'm going to be a first time Aunt! I'm over the moon!

Where was I...Oh yes, back to the cakes. This new found talent bloomed, after Rachael became an avid Cake Boss viewer.  Randomly, she decided to attempt a cake similar to the creations on the show. One simple cake experiment, quickly turned into a passion.  Each time she was done with a new cake, she would send it into work with her husband (because as she said, she didn't want to end up the size of a house). Next thing you know, people were requesting her services to make retirement, baby shower and birthday cakes!

Below are some of the cakes she has produced, with roughly five months of practice (did I mention she makes her own fondant as well?). I don't know about you, but I see serious talent and potential in her work. I am so impressed, that I simply had to share!
