Since reading her post, I've been wanting to make a wreath, but have not had the time. While I was shopping at Michael's for Easter decor, I recalled they also carried burlap. I picked up numerous rolls for my wreath and future projects.
Today I created my wreath! I used ribbon that I had available, three rolls of burlap (10 yards each), as well as a wire hanger (per directions). I was delighted with how it turned out. However, I accidentally broke one of the three starfish, and will have to replace it at a later time. For now, the wreath is a bit "lop-sided." Nonetheless, this didn't keep me from hanging the wreath on my front door with pride!
Now our home is ready for Easter AND Summer!
By now you know how much I love our Goldendoodle...and well....any chance to show him off is a great day for me!!

Oh my, I love this! Looks so nice on your door (which btw, I love your door...is that an odd thing to love??). I might need to make one myself this spring. And your little Doodle just makes this post. What a sweet boy :)
ReplyDeleteRachel I love the front door too..but it needs to be pressure washed BAD. So dirty, I almost second guessed posting the pictures. ha!
DeleteThat is gorgeous. Have I mentioned that I am in love with just about everything you make or do or decorate? I honestly think that it looks so pretty with just two starfish, and I would not bother adding anything else to it.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet. Thank you!
